How did I get here?

Over the years I’ve written small ‘essays’ on things I might be thinking about and along with photos have kept them on my laptop computer.  Recently I almost lost it all when my  computer suddenly died.  I was thinking about an external hard drive when a friend who happens to provide internet site hosting suggested doing it all online.  I’m not used to putting myself out there like this but after thinking it over I decided starting this site might be the easier way to save my ‘very important stuff’, even if it does seem a little egotistical.

I plan to populate this site with pictures, stories, and thoughts on stray and occasionally strange things.  I don’t plan to do a “face book” thing where I post every time I breath, just when I have new thoughts on a subject or when something happens I think might be worth saving.   Some stories will be actual and factual and some will be opinion only, shouldn’t be difficult for the reader to tell the difference.

Visuals will be pictures of here and there.

Music will contain songs I’ve written, some recorded,  songs I didn’t write but did record, and other musical items I might want to save.

Anyone is welcome to tell me how dumb my writing or my opinions are without fear of being hit with more than harsh words in reply.

Who is that bald headed old man?

Personally I am a slightly older,  divorced male who is slightly overweight and slightly bald, and don’t anyone argue with the ‘slightly’ part.

Welcome to the blogosphere. I’m awaiting the crash…no, I mean outlanding stories…I know you have more than a few!

Outlandings? That’s what I try not to do in my plane, James knows about one of those.
I’m learning about this so it might take a while to get it the way I want it to look.

A leader is a person you will follow to a place you wouldn’t go by yourself….. Dean thanks for showing me that a different side of life “telepathy” does exist. I am so glad you started this website. I am very much looking forward to your thoughts!!
